The happy world of I-Pods

This is about some time back. In the days leading up to my 20 something birthday. To make the event much easier to deal with I decided to gift myself my very own travel blog. ( it can be reached from the link provided in the sidebar ). Now the situation that arose was something like this. I have 2 PC’s at home. One in my room and one in the family room. The Family room PC is connected to the internet – that’s where all my blogging happens. The other in my room makes for a quiet working environment. So the latter was where I decided to do all my thinking and writing. Anyhow the day before D-Day and all my content matter was ready- all I needed was to transfer my Data from one PC to the next. When tragedy strikes – my floppy disk drive had gone for a toss, I had no CD Burning software installed on my PC. I had no LAN connection between the two. My heart sank. I wouldn’t be able to gift the travelogue to myself on my birthday after all. And then suddenly it struck me. The IPOD. My handy movable hard disk space with all of 20GB to move about just as much as I please. How happy I was. “There are some things money can’t buy” Oh I don’t think so !
